Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative

Insurance Customer Service Representative responsibilities and duties
Develop positive working relationship with clients.
Communicate with customers in a positive friendly manner most often by phone
Provide information about our personal lines homeowners, auto, umbrella and boat insurance products and services
Keep records of customer interactions and transaction in our company management system
Review insurance policy changes ensuring changes were made correctly
Answer customer questions and resolve their problems as they arise.
Rate insurance quotes and policies.
Participate in continuing education programs in both insurance and our company management system.
Determine rate charges for coverages added or subtracted
Collect payments from customers and pay companies on-line
Arrange for customer billing options
Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative qualifications and skills
2+ years’ experience in personal lines insurance service
Experience with computer insurance software. AMS360 a plus but will train
Pleasant telephone manner
Ability to prioritize work & timeliness
Work well with team members in an open and informal atmosphere
