Coordinate the handling and reporting of new claims.
Enter data as required in automation systems.
Provide support to all claims staff on complicated matters including special projects.
Handle correspondence and the clerical processing on claims including claim reporting forms, transactional file maintenance and agency management system input of each account.
Provide staff with support on the telephones.
Assist with the investigation negotiation and settlement of all claims.
Perform all duties necessary to support the overall department objective of advocating for our clients in the claim handling process.
Responsible for developing complete familiarity with all forms and paperwork including their intent and purpose.
Other responsibilities as assigned by Regional Claim Manager.
